Microsoft Azure Sponsorship Offer Details

This offer for a limited sponsored Microsoft Azure account is available by e-mail invitation only for limited customers selected by Microsoft. If you are entitled to the Microsoft Azure Sponsorship offer, you would have received an e-mail invitation to accept this offer for your Account Id.

Special Pricing

The pricing for your Microsoft Azure usage under this offer will be 100% off standard published Pay-As-You-Go rates for the term specified below.

Term & Conversion to Paid Account

Unless prohibited by applicable law or otherwise specified in writing, the special pricing will terminate and your subscription(s) under the Microsoft Azure Sponsorship offer will be converted automatically to the Pay-As-You-Go offer upon the earlier occurrence of (1) when your total cumulative usage reaches your Usage Cap (as specified in your invitation e-mail) at standard Pay-As-You-Go rates prior to application of any discount or (2) when you reach your End Date (as specified in your invitation e-mail). Your special pricing will also terminate if your Account ID (as specified in your invitation e-mail) is associated with an applicable Enterprise Agreement enrollment, in which case you will be subject to the pricing and terms of your Enterprise Agreement. You will be responsible for all usage charges after the special pricing expires.

Exclusions

Special pricing does not apply to Microsoft Azure support plans, third-party branded products, products sold through Microsoft Azure Marketplace or products otherwise sold separately from Microsoft Azure (for example, Active Directory Premium). You will be responsible for all charges incurred for these services and products.

The Sponsorship offer can not be combined with other licensing, prepaid, or credit offers (i.e Microsoft Enterprise Agreement, Cloud Solution Partner, Azure in Open, Azure Pass, Action Pack, etc.).

Limits, Quotas and Constraints

Please refer to this document for a list of common Microsoft Azure limits, quotas and constraints.

The following monthly usage quotas are applied. If you need more than these limits, please contact customer service at any time so that we can understand your needs and adjust these limits appropriately.

Service Level Agreements

We offer a set of robust service level agreements for each of the Azure platform services.More details on each of our SLAs can be found on ourSLA page. Service level agreements are not provided for services during preview.

Resource Commitment

All increases in usage levels of service resources (e.g. adding to the number of compute instances running or increasing the amount of storage in use) are subject to the availability of these service resources. Any quota described in the Limits, Quotas and Constraints section is not a commitment that there will be sufficient resources available for you to reach the quota.

For any subscriptions of this offer that are not incurring charges and are inactive for more than 90 days, we reserve the right to remove any compute resources including hosted service(s), virtual machines and websites. Please note that no data would be deleted and customers can redeploy at any time. We will also provide advance notice prior to removing any compute resources.

You can also avoid having your compute resources removed by doing either of the following every 90 days:

  1. Log into either the Azure portal or the new Microsoft Azure portal
  2. Access your resources via our Azure APIs
